Why Contractors Are Joining the NBRN Network
Consistent instruction flow, less administration, and a platform that handles policyholder communication for you. Here is what the NBRN network offers specialist contractors and why applications are growing.
· NBRN Team
The NBRN contractor network is growing — and the contractors joining it are doing so for straightforward reasons: consistent instruction flow, less administration, and a platform that handles the parts of claims work that specialists shouldn't have to manage themselves.
What the NBRN Network Offers Contractors
When a new job comes through NBRN, the contractor receives full job details upfront — damage type, property address, policyholder contact, insurer reference and any urgency notes. There is no chasing for information, no unclear scope and no ambiguity about who to contact.
The NBRN platform manages policyholder communication and appointment confirmation, which means contractors arrive at properties where the occupant is expecting them, has confirmed access and understands what the visit involves. This makes a tangible difference to how jobs run on the ground.
Specialism Over Volume
NBRN does not operate as a volume dispatch network. Jobs are matched to contractors based on specialism and location — a flood contractor receives flood jobs, an asbestos specialist receives asbestos instructions. The work coming through the network is relevant to what each contractor actually does, rather than a broad mix that leads to poor outcomes and disputes.
The Application Process
Joining NBRN requires passing a compliance and capability assessment. Contractors are evaluated on their insurance cover, accreditations, specialism and claims-handling experience. This keeps the quality of the network consistent — and means that once you are on the panel, you are working alongside contractors who meet the same standards.
The assessment is straightforward and handled entirely online. Most contractors complete it within a few days.
Currently Recruiting
NBRN is actively expanding its panel, with particular demand in flood and water damage restoration, fire and smoke remediation, and mould treatment. If you operate in any of these areas and want to discuss joining the network, apply via the contractor portal or contact the team directly.
